Welcome to Wholistic Counseling!  We are Sean and Kathy Ensign and have been married for 33 years. Kathy is a licensed clinical social worker and Sean is a licensed professional counselor. Our focus is on working with individuals and families helping them become whole again.  We  have lived in Alaska for 20 years, I was a military spouse for 20 years and Sean retired military officer, and have two grown children. We work from a variety of therapeutic frameworks to help achieve holistic harmony and wellness.  I have been a therapist for many years with children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings.  EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)for trauma, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Certification, Complex Trauma Certification, Somatic based interventions (SPI Sensorimotor Psychology), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Certified Mental Health Integrated Mental Health Medicine Provider, Certified HeartMath Provider and Resilient Heart Trauma Sensitive HeartMath Certification.  We look forward to working with you and your family to help achieve your goals.
